TutorGuard processes the tutor replies you paste for a safety check. This page states, plainly, what we handle and what we do not claim.
What we handle
pasted AI tutor replies and optional policy notes used to generate safety flags.
Data handling commitments
- Submissions run the product pipeline and are retained only as long as needed for your saved history (paid tiers) or until you delete the run.
- We apply access controls consistent with GDPR Art. 32 (security of processing) where personal data is processed.
- BYOK keys (Enterprise), when offered, are stored server-side only and never exposed to the browser.
Honesty rule: TutorGuard turns tutor replies into draft safety flags. We do not guarantee every unsafe reply is caught, 100% factual coverage, or improved grades.
Our honesty posture
- TutorGuard is decision-support for tutor-reply safety — not a teaching certificate or child-protection agency.
- For safeguarding decisions, consult a qualified educator or child-safety professional.
